Exhibit Poster - Ani Hoover and Lyn Carter

Circular Logic
Lynn Carter and Ani Hoover

Sept. 4 – Oct. 18, 2009
Reception: September 4, 7-9 pm

Curated by: Sharon McConnell

Lyn Carter's sculpture of stretched fabric and Ani Hoover's process paintings explore the geometry of the circle, transforming the simple shape into complex abstractions. Carter references the domestic and the architectural; creating work that is both familiar and extraordinary. Hoover uses repetition and layering to convey the passage of time.
