Liminal

A performance installation featuring Alfred University faculty and students, will be exhibited from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, April 4, at the Fosdick-Nelson Gallery, Harder Hall.

D. Chase Angier, assistant professor of dance, in collaboration with Marketa Fantova, assistant professor of theater design; and John Laprade, a musician who divides his time between Alfred and New York City, will be creating the large-scale sculptural and time-based art project.

Past solo exhibitions have showcased works by installation artist Fred Wilson, sculptor Kiki Smith and video artist Les Leveque. Group exhibitions include: Material Matters, and exhibition of contemporary ceramics; Off the Grid; Selections from the LeWitt Collection; Iterations Revisited/Electronic Intersections; Tracing: Works on Paper by Contemporary Chinese Artists. The Fosdick-Nelson Gallery is located in the School of Art and Design on the Alfred University campus.
